This course requires the use of LockDown Browser for online exams. Don’t worry, it’s easy to get started! Here’s everything you need to know:

1. Download and install LockDown Browser from this link:
   🔗 Download LockDown Browser

2. Once installed, follow these steps:

   • Start LockDown Browser 🖥️

   • Log into Blackboard Learn

   • Navigate to the exam

Note

🛑 Important Note: You cannot access tests with a standard web browser. If you try, you’ll see an error message telling you that the test requires LockDown Browser. Just switch to LockDown Browser and navigate back to your exam to continue.

🔒 LockDown Browser Features

• Prevents access to other websites or applications.

• You cannot exit the test until all questions are completed and submitted.

🛠️ Getting Help

If you encounter any problems with LockDown Browser, here are some resources to help you troubleshoot:

1. Help Center 🛑

   • The Windows and Mac versions of LockDown Browser have a Help Center button in the toolbar.

   • Use the System & Network Check to diagnose issues.

   • If your exam requires a webcam, run the Webcam Check too.

2. Institution Help Desk 💼

   • COE help desk

   • Some help desks may ask you to run the System & Network Check and Webcam Check before contacting them.

   • If applicable, forward the results of these checks when opening a support ticket.

3. Respondus Knowledge Base 📚

   • Visit the 🔗 Respondus Knowledge Base and select “LockDown Browser & Respondus Monitor” to find helpful articles.

4. Submit a Ticket 📨

   • If you’re still unable to resolve the issue, go to 🔗 Respondus Support and select “Submit a Ticket”.

   • Provide detailed information about the problem and the steps you’ve taken to resolve it.
