This course requires the use of LockDown Browser for online exams. Donโ€™t worry, itโ€™s easy to get started! Hereโ€™s everything you need to know:

  1. Download and install LockDown Browser from this link:
    ๐Ÿ”— Download LockDown Browser

  2. Once installed, follow these steps:

    • Start LockDown Browser ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ

    • Log into Blackboard Learn

    • Navigate to the exam

๐Ÿ›‘ Important Note: You cannot access tests with a standard web browser. If you try, youโ€™ll see an error message telling you that the test requires LockDown Browser. Just switch to LockDown Browser and navigate back to your exam to continue.

  • Prevents access to other websites or applications.

  • You cannot exit the test until all questions are completed and submitted.

If you encounter any problems with LockDown Browser, here are some resources to help you troubleshoot:

    • The Windows and Mac versions of LockDown Browser have a Help Center button in the toolbar.

    • Use the System & Network Check to diagnose issues.

    • If your exam requires a webcam, run the Webcam Check too.

    • Some help desks may ask you to run the System & Network Check and Webcam Check before contacting them.

    • If applicable, forward the results of these checks when opening a support ticket.
